Instead, we ended
up climbing five peaks Chalcataya (17,700 ft), Cerro Austria (17,200ft),
Tarija (17,272 ft), Pequeno
Alpamayo (17,618 ft) and Charquini (17,192 ft)

Sajama Information
Weather--
In 1996, UMass Geoscience Department members established a permanent satellite-linked
weather
station at the summit of Sajama. Here's some interesting data from
their weather logs.
June 97 Maximum temperature - 5C (23F), minimum temperature
-21C (-6F)
July 97 Maximum temperature - 5C (23F), minimum temperature
-19C (-2F)
June 98 Maximum temperature - 5C (23F), minimum temperature
