Brownstones

One of the most beautiful neighborhoods in New York City is Brooklyn's Park Slope. The buildings are encrusted with arcane ornaments, a great source of inspiration. A sign supplied by the New York Landmarks Preservation Foundation reads "Park Slope Historic District  ...Principally built between the Mid 1880s and World War I Park Slope retains it profile of three and four story buildings, punctuated by church steeples, recalling Brooklyn's character as the city of homes and churches... Victorian Gothic, Queen Anne, Romanesque Revival and other styles abound here.."
