Industrial Scenes

Heavy industry shaped many parts of New York City and still remains important to the health of the city. Without many of these plants and facilities buildings wouldn't get built, materials shipped and machinery serviced.  The forms created by the industrial plants and processes  are unique and powerful. They speak to the spectacular accomplishments humans can achieve. That much of what I paint has become derelict speaks to other aspects of our civilization.

Much of the artwork on this page is available for puchase. Email me for details.
