Climbing and hikinghave been part of my life since childhood.Adventuring has taken me to Central Asia, the Andes, Mexico, Alaska, Yukon Territory, the Alps and many parts of North America.
Only occasionally have I been able to translate theseintense experiences into paint. The images below were created in the studio referencing onsite oil sketches, field notes, photographs and intense visual memories.
